Storytelling, Speaking, Celebrating

As a proud member of the disability community, Dashiell advocates for  inclusion and a recognition of and end to ableism. He spoke at the United Nations about health equity for people with Trisomy 21/Down syndrome and regularly speaks at the Stanford Medical School. As a Special Olympics  Global Messenger and National Down Syndrome Society Ambassador,  Dashiell has met with members of Congress virtually and in person. He  has also traveled to Sacramento to meet with California state  legislators. Dashiell has spoken to high school and university students,  global companies, and community groups about ableism and the history of Down syndrome. His films, stories and comics center on disabilty and social justice.
